Wreaths Across America 2024 - Riverton

You are invited to attend the annual Wreaths Across America in Riverton held on 12/14/24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery. Weather permitting, we will gather at the VFW monument to distribute the wreaths. We are placing sponsored wreaths on the graves of over 600 veterans to honor their service and sacrifice for our country and this community. This will be our 7th year in Riverton.  The weather forecast for the morning of the 14th is partly cloudy with temperatures in the high 20's to upper 30's. So, volunteers should remember to dress warmly and wear work gloves to handle the wreaths. We expect to have between 600 and 700 wreaths (about the same as last year), so help will be appreciated.  When you can participate, please bring family and friends, youth are especially welcome! Hot coffee and host chocolate will be served.
